Human Resources has to become the part of the business and HRM Function has to make itself responsible for many business objectives. The business defines the general business strategy and the HR Managers has to identify the areas for Human Resources to support the business. The business strategy is about the development of new products, services and enhancing the sales. Human Resources cannot sell the products, but it can support the Sales function in the support and it bring useful tools for the Sales Function as sales training, sales force effectiveness and world class bonus scheme.
The HR Employees have to learn the business essentials and they have to understand the financials of the organization. When in the discussion, the HR Employees have to recognize the priorities of the organization and its business leaders.
The business leaders can make quick decision based on the detailed knowledge of the business, the managers and the profitability of the products. The business leaders ignore the employees in their decision process as they have no detailed information about them.
The HR Employees can bring the soft aspect to the business leader's decisions. Human Resources can identify a lot of the potential and lot of risks and the organization can be grown into much healthier organization. The healthier organization can easily outperform the competitors on the market as the employees are innovative and they bring the innovations into the daily business life.
