The labor unions are the part of our organizations and they protect employees against the employer. Generally, the labor unions are good for the organization, when they do not interfere into the main business areas and they trust to the leaders of the organization.

The labor unions should be the part of the team formulating the new compensation strategy. The labor unions have the chance to understand the sources of the income in the organization and the cost structure.

The labor unions are not a danger for the compensation strategy and it can improve the relationship between Human Resources and the unions, when they feel involved in the process of the design of the new compensation strategy.

They will not agree with all the compensation components, but they can accept the compensation strategy on the general level.
